That does not diminish what Falcons did in Rocket League. It explains how much that result mattered. Their 4-0 Grand Final win was worth 1,000 Club Championship points, enough to drag a seven-week, 25-tournament race back toward them with one week left. Rocket League did not decide the overall championship. It made sure the championship still had to be decided.
The closing weekend was therefore not an epilogue to Rocket League's tournament. It was the answer to the organization-wide question that Falcons had pushed all the way into Week Seven: could anyone erase the lead their latest international title created?
Rocket League changed the lead
Week Six belonged to Falcons. The club earned 1,000 points through dralii, Kiileerrz, and Rw9's Rocket League title, then added 500 from Chess. Those two results put Falcons back in first and left AG.AL 300 points behind entering the final week in Paris.
The sequence is worth separating from the final standings. Falcons had not merely added another medal to a large organization-wide haul. Rocket League's maximum-point result changed who controlled the race. After spending five days navigating a 16-team bracket, then winning eight straight games across the semifinal and Grand Final, the roster handed the club a lead it could defend.
It also gave Falcons a path to a third consecutive Club Championship. The club had won the previous two editions, and the Rocket League trophy turned what could have been a quiet handover into a final-week fight. That is the strange double life of an EWC title: it is a complete championship in its own game, and at the same time one piece of a much larger scoreboard.
Trackmania delivered the final swing
Falcons added 200 points from Counter-Strike 2 in Week Seven but did not score in their other three remaining titles. AG.AL found 200 points in CROSSFIRE and then got the result that settled everything: Gwendal “Gwen” Duparc won Trackmania, earning another 1,000 points for the club.
That final swing took AG.AL to 5,300, 700 clear of Falcons. The champion's full event was built on breadth as much as one closing result. AG.AL competed in 18 tournaments and collected six podium finishes: victories in TEKKEN 8 and Trackmania, three runner-up finishes, and one third place. Trackmania supplied the decisive blow, but the earlier placements created the position from which one win could be decisive.
Team Vitality completed the overall podium with 3,300 points. The Club Championship's official prize allocation awarded $7 million to AG.AL, $5 million to Falcons, and $4 million to Vitality. Those totals are separate from the game-specific prizes: Falcons' Rocket League roster had already earned $400,000 for winning its tournament.
What the result says about Rocket League's place at EWC
Rocket League arrived in the sixth of seven weeks and immediately became central to the overall race. A title in any EWC game carries the same maximum 1,000 Club Championship points, so the timing did not make Rocket League mathematically more valuable. It made the result dramatically more visible. Falcons moved into first with only one week left, and every later result could be measured against the lead their Rocket League roster had created.
There is an important distinction here. AG.AL did not beat Falcons in a Rocket League series. AG.AL assembled the stronger cross-game campaign. Falcons, meanwhile, were the best Rocket League team at the event by an emphatic margin. Both statements can be true without one becoming a footnote to the other.
