Team Falcons are the 2026 Rocket League Esports World Cup champions. dralii, Kiileerrz, and Rw9 swept Spacestation Gaming 4-0 in the Grand Final in Paris, earning $400,000 and 1,000 EWC Club Championship points.
The trophy had evaded Falcons in the event's first three editions. On Sunday, there was no uncertainty about who deserved it. Falcons did not drop a map against Karmine Corp in the semifinal or against Spacestation in the final: eight straight wins when the tournament's stakes were at their highest.
Spacestation 4-3 NiP
Spacestation reached the final through the closer semifinal. NiP took the series to Game 7, but SSG won the decider 4-0. That was a fitting finish to a run built on nerve: SSG had already swept Karmine Corp in groups and survived Shopify in the quarterfinals after trailing 3-1.
reveal, zach, and diaz earned the $180,000 runner-up prize, but the final was a different kind of test. Falcons gave them no room to turn a tight game into another comeback.
Falcons 4-0 Karmine Corp
Falcons' semifinal against the defending EWC champion and Paris Major winner was supposed to be the heavyweight series of the day. It became a statement. Falcons swept KC 4-0, sending dralii past his former roster and ending Karmine Corp's title defense without a map on Championship Sunday.
That result matters beyond one semifinal. KC had recovered from a 0-3 deficit against R8 and beaten Vitality in seven just to reach Sunday. Falcons made that resilience irrelevant, then carried the same ruthless form straight into the Grand Final.
From a five-game test to an eight-game finish
Falcons' tournament was not a wire-to-wire sweep. Gentle Mates pushed them to five games in the Group B upper bracket, taking the third and fourth games after Falcons had started 2-0. Falcons won the decider 3-2, secured the direct playoff place, and then did not lose again. That early test looks more significant in retrospect: it forced the eventual champions to solve a match that was slipping away before the knockout bracket ever began.
Once playoffs started, every answer came quickly. Twisted Minds pushed Falcons in the quarterfinal, including the 6-5 overtime in Game 4, but Falcons closed that series 4-2. KC had spent the event surviving elimination pressure and entered the semifinal as the reigning champion; Falcons swept them. Spacestation had just won a Game 7 to reach the final; Falcons swept them too. The final two series contained eight games and no Falcon loss.
That is what made the Grand Final feel so decisive. Spacestation had shown throughout the week that they could turn an uncomfortable series into a comeback. Their route included the 3-0 sweep of KC, the recovery against Shopify, and the Game 7 win over NiP. Against Falcons, there was never an opening wide enough to turn into a run. A 4-0 final is a complete result, not a single hot stretch.
What Paris leaves behind
For Falcons, this is both a standalone EWC title and the strongest possible way to close the international summer. Kiileerrz, Rw9, and dralii leave with the trophy, the first-place prize, and a result every Worlds contender will have to account for. Winning a five-day event does not guarantee anything in Fort Worth, but it changes the conversation around who should be feared there.
For the rest of the final four, there is a different takeaway. Spacestation proved its ceiling by beating KC in the group stage and fighting through three separate seven-game battles across the event. NiP turned an upper-bracket route and a third-place win into one of the best results of their year. KC showed remarkable resilience to reach Sunday, but were unable to sustain it against Falcons. All three leave with evidence that their Worlds run can still matter.
NiP take third
Ninjas in Pyjamas eStar beat Karmine Corp 3-0 in the best-of-five third-place match, winning 5-4 in overtime, then 2-1 and 3-2. Even after the semifinal disappointment, NiP found enough to close the day with three straight wins. The result gave them third place, $100,000, and 500 Club Championship points. KC finished fourth and took $60,000.
The final standings
- Team Falcons — $400,000
- Spacestation Gaming — $180,000
- Ninjas in Pyjamas eStar — $100,000
- Karmine Corp — $60,000
Gentle Mates, Team Vitality, Shopify Rebellion, and Twisted Minds shared 5th-8th. The event is done, but the biggest prize of the RLCS season is still ahead. The World Championship begins September 15 in Fort Worth, where every team gets a reset — but Falcons arrive with the most convincing international result of the summer and a trophy that confirms it.
